Rhonda Roederer has been passionate about family history research for more than 35 years, with special expertise in German genealogy and heritage travel. A Louisiana native now residing in North Carolina, she is a full-time professional genealogist, educator, and founder of Heritage with Heart. Rhonda’s work spans a wide range of genealogical pursuits, including uncovering family mysteries, tracing German ancestry, writing heritage cookbooks, organizing large family heritage events, and reuniting adoptees with their birth families. Known for blending historical research with engaging storytelling, she brings family history to life through compelling case studies drawn from her own research experiences. Her educational outreach includes presentations, seminars, and workshops for historical societies, libraries, lineage organizations, and genealogy conferences, including presentations at RootsTech. Rhonda is especially passionate about helping others preserve family stories and strengthen connections across generations. Her mission is to help bring families together—both physically and emotionally—one generation at a time.
